1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Augustus Academic Advisory (“the Practice”).
By engaging the Practice, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Nature of Services
The Practice provides independent academic advisory services relating to education planning, structure, and progression.
Services are advisory in nature only and do not constitute:
tutoring or teaching
legal advice
guaranteed educational placement or outcomes
All recommendations are provided based on professional judgement and the information available at the time of engagement.
3. Engagement Structure
All work begins with an initial consultation process.
The Practice reserves the right to decline or discontinue engagement at its discretion following this process.
Where an ongoing advisory arrangement is agreed, scope, duration, and structure will be confirmed in writing.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
providing accurate and complete information
ensuring timely communication where required
making final decisions regarding educational pathways and placements
The Practice does not assume responsibility for implementation decisions made by clients or third parties.
5. In-Person Advisory Work
Where in-person advisory sessions take place, these are conducted as observational and consultative engagements.
The Practice is not responsible for conditions, arrangements, or decisions made outside the scope of advisory input during such visits.
6. Fees and Payment
All fees, where applicable, will be agreed in advance of any ongoing engagement.
Payment terms will be confirmed prior to commencement of services.
The Practice reserves the right to suspend services in the event of non-payment.
7. Confidentiality
All engagements are conducted on a strictly confidential basis.
Information shared during the course of advisory work will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
While all advice is provided with care and professional judgement, the Practice accepts no liability for decisions made by clients based on advisory input.
Educational outcomes are influenced by multiple external factors beyond the control of the Practice.
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable notice.
The Practice reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases where continuation is deemed inappropriate.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
